🇵🇸 Interview With Leila Khaled: “Where There Is Repression, There Is Resistance”
Hello, sisters of the world!!
We continue to denounce the violence of Israel against the Palestinian people in Gaza and the West Bank. The number of victims of this genocide has been growing day after day, and every day the peoples from around the world who stand in solidarity take to the streets to denounce the Israeli occupation and demand freedom and self-determination to Palestine. The Western media organizes its own warfare to advocate for the imperialist and capitalist interests behind the conflict. Conversely, Capire is part of a broad range of grassroots media outlets and it strives to echo feminist voices advocating for the Palestinian people’s sovereignty, reporting on the strength of Palestinian women’s struggle.
Last week, we shared a new interview with the World March of Women militant Abeer Abu Khdeir about the attacks against Gaza and the grassroots resistance in the struggle for freedom. This week, we published an interview conducted collectively by the comms team of the Dilemmas of Humanity International Conference, organized by the International People’s Assembly, which took place in Johannesburg, South Africa, in October, 2023. During the interview, Leila Khaled spoke about her life and struggles in defending Palestine and its people, and denounced the land grabbing and violence conducted by Israel against the Palestinian people. Watch, listen to, read, and share the interview! Free Palestine! 🇵🇸
