Interview with Norma Cacho + Call for Posters in Solidarity With Palestine | Issue #3
Hello, sisters of the world!
We spoke with Norma Cacho, who has been, since October 2023, one of the members of the International Committee of the World March of Women, representing the Americas. In the interview, Norma shared her views on the challenges facing the feminist movement globally and regionally, and the contributions coming from grassroots feminism, feminist economy, and the alternative proposed by women on the ground, bringing the local and the global together. “Feminist economy has been one of our most powerful political perspectives in recent years, as well as our views about regional integration, grassroots feminism, and people power,” she says.
Also, expanding our grassroots and international struggle, this week we launched a joint call to invite women and gender-dissident people, artists, activists, and supporters to join us and express feminist solidarity with the women who sustain life and the struggle in Palestine. This is a joint call by the Capire portal, the International Peoples’ Assembly, ALBA Movements, and Utopix. Submit feminist posters in solidarity with Palestinian women and the Palestinian struggle before February 29th.
We believe that solidarity is a powerful tool in the struggle for liberation. This is why our organizations denounce the violence, the occupation of lands, the encroachment of nature, and genocide that have been tormenting the Palestinian people for decades. Read more information here!

To keep and expand Capire as a tool of internationalist grassroots feminism, in 2023 we launched an invitation and a call for donations and support, so that everyone who follows us can contribute with grassroots feminist communications. Please consider donating to Capire!
