At the end of 2020, after the International Action of the World March of Women, Nalu was one of the sisters who, with courage and inspiration, proposed the creation of a portal to spread the ideas and actions of international feminism. Without Nalu, there would be no Capire. In the same way, the World March of Women is what it is thanks to the persistence, work, and dreams of Nalu and her sisters.
Nalu submitted several writings for us to publish, willing to contribute to a broad, international conversation. She wrote and spoke about the history of feminism, the international political situation, popular education, violence, feminist economy, and the fight against conservatism and free trade. She was always alert to the traps of capitalism against women, and she had an ability to provide a radical, visionary response to them, as are the responses of the peoples around the world.
Nalu also took part in numerous meetings with Capire, discussing assignments and joint efforts, always bringing her critical and creative spirit with her. In a meeting with Capire and militants of the World March of Women in the first half of 2023, Nalu said, “We have to fulfill the task to make the history of feminism the history of those who have made it, not just the history of those who wrote it.” She reorganized our feelings and provided a synthesis, along with all those who attended the meeting, about the goal and the practice of grassroots feminist communication.
Nalu's strategic vision, thinking, and action are part of grassroots internationalist feminism. We say goodbye to our sister and friend with the commitment to continue and multiply the rebellion until we are all free!

The handing over of the quilt was a moment of affirmation of international feminism and connection between the more than 150 Meeting delegates. They went back to their countries with an updated agenda of struggles and many new ideas for joint organizing efforts and radicalization of grassroots feminism around the world.
